Craniosacral Therapy
Releasing restrictions and creating balance
CranioSacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle technique that compliments the body’s intuitive healing processes via the craniosacral system (comprised of the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord). Using a soft touch, often about the weight of a nickel, practitioners aim to release restrictions and create balance to improve the functioning of the central nervous system. CST is derived from osteopathic medical tradition and is increasingly used as a form of preventive healthcare, as well as a treatment for a wide range of health concerns, including headaches and migraines, chronic neck pain, central nervous system disorders, concussions, chronic fatigue, emotional imbalances, TMJ disorders, depression, anxiety, PTSD and more.
